Chapter 9
Bourne’s mentor Willard killed one of Arkadin spy who has been looking for Bourne. Willard stopped Arkadin's spy from contacting him via cellphone and after killed him, he took the cell phone. He redialed the number and found out it was Arkadin who sent him and thus a made mistake. His mistake was telling Arkadin to stay away which meant that Bourne was still alive. Moira has contacted one her friends for information in Washington and after the meeting she had one of her agents give her a car and she traveled in a random manner to get rid of any possibility of anyone following her. She stopped at Cafe to eat. She used a computer provided for by her agency and choose to take a look at the information on the thumb drive which to her made no sense at all. It only said "PINPRICKBARDEM". She soon realized that she was followed when two NSA agent opened the front door to cafe. Willard talked to the good doctor Benjamin Firth about keeping the death of Arkadin's agent secret from Bourne. He said "yes" that he would keep quiet. He was the doctor who saved Bourne’s life and was being black mailed by Arkadin agent about Bourne whereabouts.
